Hi, I’m Trish Rafuse, a REALTOR® based in New Minas and serving customers across Nova Scotia. Whether you’re buying your first home, downsizing, upsizing, relocating or just looking for a change, it would be my pleasure to take care of your real estate needs.

I have worked in customer service for over 30 years and pride myself on taking care of the details. My clients trust me to advise on big decisions and I don’t let them down.

I have been a licensed REALTOR® since 2019 and am an active member of the Nova Scotia Association of Realtors. I sit on three committees within NSAR; the Education Committee, the Political Affairs Committee and the Diversity Committee. Being involved in my community helps me stay on top of trends and better serve my clients.

Outside of the office you’ll find me enjoying time with my family and friends, preferably near the ocean. I am a foodie, enjoying many of the local restaurants and wineries that our province has to offer. I am a proud member of the Kentville Rotary Club, I love participating in community events, and I can’t say no to a really good cup of coffee.

When you’re ready to discuss your real estate needs, please contact me to learn more about how you can #trustintrish.

Crystal Lynn I have been trying to figure out a way to convey properly the exemplary professionalism Trish has exhibited. Whether it be listing my home with a constant plan, always being available to help, answer questions (and believe me, I had A LOT), listen, exhibit confidence and show EXTREME patience, she, to me, has exhibited what a realtor should be. If she doesn’t know something (which is VERY rare, she will find out very fast!)

Onto the personal. She, as a person, has been kind, understanding, available, helpful, friendly, inclusive, considerate, knowledgeable, willing to take as much time as she needs (it could be preparing the home for pictures, providing suggestions to make it look more appealing, letting you know what you can do to make it easier for you) and so much more. I don’t think I have enough paper or time. The advice Trish gives is to the best interest of you as her client, as well as consideration of what you may need in the future (whether it be buying or selling).

If you are looking for a relator that makes you feel comfortable, confident, secure, SURE, then you HAVE to choose Trish. You won’t regret it. I know I never will! Thank you, Trish. You will never know the impact you have had on our lives. All the best to you!

Mike McDermott Trish was fantastic to deal with! She became a part of our family and really made the experience less stressful. I would recommend anyone to “Trust in Trish” you won’t be disappointed.

Purchase

Purchasing a home is one of the most important decisions you’ll make, and the right advice and guidance is paramount. Experience and expertise matter and they can make a significant difference in making sure that you not only find the right house, but that you also pay the best price.

I not only have a thorough understanding of the marketplace but I also have access to many properties that are off-market

and an awareness of properties that are about to be listed. Most importantly, I’m keenly aware of the nuances that determine value and I am discerning as to construction quality, materials, and craftsmanship.   I will listen to your needs and find you the perfect home and I will make sure that you make an educated and informed decision. Once you choose a property I will represent your interest vociferously throughout the purchase process, negotiating the best possible purchase price, managing and advocating for you during inspections, escrow, title, and closing. I will also advise you on how to make the house even better, including furniture and design, and possibly remodel ideas and augmentations where beneficial.

Seller

Choosing the correct real estate agent to sell your home is one of the most important decisions you’ll make. It can be the difference between your home sitting on the market for months or selling quickly, for hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars more. Your home is a very personal, important, and valuable asset, and it can be an emotional and complicated endeavor to sell it, especially in today’s challenging marketplace.

Numerous questions and concerns will need to be addressed, and the advice and consultation that you receive can make a tremendous difference in the results. Marketing and advertising, remodeling and/or upgrading, photography, internet exposure, staging, design, floor-plan measurements, videography, timing and presentation, inspections, pre-market exposure, agent outreach and relationships, open houses, pricing, and dozens more nuances and subtleties all make up the difference between failure and a successful sale.
