Hello there, my name is Austin McFarland, and I am a young business professional with a diverse background in sales, marketing, and wealth management. I am a Tyler native and UT Tyler Alumni with a business management and marketing degree. Growing up in Tyler, I have witnessed firsthand the rapid growth and enhancements we have made from the small community I recall it to be. It is a thriving and growing location with exceptional opportunities and a friendly atmosphere.

Recently I got engaged to my best friend, and we had our first son, little Theodore, who will make your heart melt. We lived in the Frisco area for approximately 4 years while finishing my studies at UT Tyler, and this helped enhance my professionalism, self-motivation, and financial literacy. The Dallas lifestyle was a great experience that allowed me to work in a larger market with various individuals and business professionals. However, I am excited to return home to Tyler close to our family and friends.

Working as a Real Estate professional allows me the opportunity to listen to clients’ needs and desires and find exactly what they’re looking for. I am expanding my knowledge and expertise in the Real Estate Industry daily and working with one of the best teams with 30+ years of experience. My goal as your real estate agent is to help achieve your goals and exceed expectations and, in doing so, earn your trust and business for years to come. I am open to all real estate-related questions and would love to help you navigate the real estate market and alleviate the stress of buying or selling here in East Texas.

Sarah Starr-Neth Austin was amazing!! We looked at many houses and he helped me make sure each home had what I needed. If they didn’t meet my needs, we kept looking. I found my dream home thanks to Austin. He handled things that he wasn’t even responsible for, which was great! I will definitely use him again if I’m in need of a realtor in the future.

Michael Benedict Austin was a joy to work with for the purchase of our home and we would highly recommend him. He was a strong advocate for our wishes and worked diligently to achieve our goals. The follow-up from Austin was always quick and he went above and beyond the call of duty on multiple occasions to assist us.

Johnny Birdwell Austin was very helpful and responsive with the entire process of buying and selling property. He was a major factor in allowing us to obtain our home. If not for his quick communication, we would have lost that opportunity. Don’t hesitate to use him for all your realtor needs!

Purchasing a home is one of the most important decisions you’ll make, and the right advice and guidance is paramount. Experience and expertise matter and they can make a significant difference in making sure that you not only find the right house, but that you also pay the best price.

I not only have a thorough understanding of the marketplace but I also have access to many properties that are off-market

and an awareness of properties that are about to be listed. Most importantly, I’m keenly aware of the nuances that determine value and I am discerning as to construction quality, materials, and craftsmanship.   I will listen to your needs and find you the perfect home and I will make sure that you make an educated and informed decision. Once you choose a property I will represent your interest vociferously throughout the purchase process, negotiating the best possible purchase price, managing and advocating for you during inspections, escrow, title, and closing. I will also advise you on how to make the house even better, including furniture and design, and possibly remodel ideas and augmentations where beneficial.

Choosing the correct real estate agent to sell your home is one of the most important decisions you’ll make. It can be the difference between your home sitting on the market for months or selling quickly, for hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars more. Your home is a very personal, important, and valuable asset, and it can be an emotional and complicated endeavor to sell it, especially in today’s challenging marketplace.

Numerous questions and concerns will need to be addressed, and the advice and consultation that you receive can make a tremendous difference in the results. Marketing and advertising, remodeling and/or upgrading, photography, internet exposure, staging, design, floor-plan measurements, videography, timing and presentation, inspections, pre-market exposure, agent outreach and relationships, open houses, pricing, and dozens more nuances and subtleties all make up the difference between failure and a successful sale.
